Works of Love During LentThe intention of this part of the Lenten Discipline is to connect our faith in God's love for us with actions that are loving of others in the world. "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" (John 3:16). Love is why Christ came. Love is why Christ died. Love is why God raised him from the dead. Love is the whole purpose and mission of the Church and of every Christian member: to show God's love in the world. Consider one or more of these suggestions for this portion of your Lenten Discipline:
